Writing
I partner with organizations large and small to create customized written content, from single web pages to to full-length books. I specialize in products for children and young adults, but I also have experience writing book reviews, educational texts, web content, and marketing materials for a broad range of clients. I’m particularly interested in projects relating to education, socio-emotional health, and literacy. 

Developmental Editing
Whether you’re in the early stages of planning a writing project or need a new perspective on a manuscript in progress, developmental editing can help you shape and refine your work. I’m available for developmental editing of both fiction and nonfiction manuscripts, and I work with each author to develop an individualized, collaborative project plan. Some common themes in developmental editing include shaping plot and structure, clarifying audience and tone, and assessing a book’s place in current publishing markets.

Writing Coaching and Tutoring
If you’re looking to get started as a writer, improve your writing in an academic or professional context, or gain new creative direction, individual coaching might be a good fit for you. I work with both novice and experienced writers on a one-on-one basis, with sessions tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. I’m also available for academic tutoring and writing enrichment with children and young adults, including consulting for college admissions essays. Sessions are available both remotely and in person in the New York City area.
